Company Culture
What it’s Like To Work Here…
As a consultant, we have two general types of positions. One is as a staff consultant to a client in their own project group. Generally this is a position where you will actually work in the client’s location, with a group of contributors who are either other consultants, or direct employees of the client’s, or both. At any rate, you would be a direct employee of Extreme Consulting, simply contracted to and working at the client’s site.
A second type of employment position is on a project team working at Extreme Consulting offices, on a completely outsourced project from a client. In this setting the project generally evolves from concept phase through complete architecture, implementation and delivery to the client, and would be fully staffed by Extreme Consulting employees.
In both of these types of positions, there are needs for everything from entry level candidates, to experienced developers, designers, architects and project managers.
We hold regular meetings and/or social events for our employees, so that everyone can get together even though we may be working on projects in different clients. We like to have periodic one-on-one lunches out with each employee, to get a better understanding of how your work is going, and to give you the opportunity for direct feedback to the management staff of Extreme.
Employment Options
Most of our employees are salaried, full time employees. These employees receive a variety of very competitive and attractive benefits. We consider our career opportunities to be long-lasting, nurturing, family-style relationships. Our ultimate goal is to be recognized as one of the top companies to work for in the Dayton area… we are committed to reaching that goal.
We also have employees who choose to come to us on an hourly basis, as well as consultants who are 1099 independent subcontractors. The decision of which route to take is generally up to the employee, and we can help you to understand the benefits and details of each option so that you can make an informed decision. Again, our ultimate goal is to develop a long-term relationship with each employee that is to the advantage of the employee’s personal career.
